A charming, cosy cottage made for a perfect rustic getaway. New loo and shower amenities were excellent. Take your own drinking water. There's a little gas stove but no electricity: if you're there during summer take a self powered fan/power pack for your devices/fridge. We got ice from the post office at Pt Germein. Lots of wildlife including a stunning lace monitor, kangas, emus sauntering through camp, and birds singing their hearts out. A good bug lotion with deet for a few flies by day and the odd moz at night. Other critters left us alone but were fascinating to watch (a fabulous redback wrapping her prey in one of the loos was better than TV). No phone signal so just sit on front verandah with a cold beer and watch the menagerie. Comfy bed. A few campers around but not hectic and other sites are not wall to wall. Amazing sound and light show thanks to a hot summer storm. Excellent short and longer hikes/walks. Will definitely be back.
