Orange is a lovely country town with lots of historical and architecturally interesting buildings and the faint smell of 'old money'. Beautiful in autumn. Lots of pub and restaurant options, wineries etc. Duntryleague is a wonderful golf course if you can get on.

We enjoyed the town, the wineries were lovely, although some don't open during the week, that was disappointing.
People were very friendly, knowledgeable and made our stay very relaxing and enjoyable.
Lake Canobalas was beautiful, child friendly, lovely cafe and lovely place to walk and relax.
Richard our taxi driver went above and beyond organising another driver to pick us up later that night as he was finishing his shift. A big thank you to him.
We went to a few restaurants and they were high end and very good.

Tourist information centre excellent very helpful staff.
Tourist information centre excellent very helpful staff. Toured some of the cellar doors. Travelled to Cowra which was well worth the visit. Also the Ophir Gold where gold first discovered in NSW. Orange central to lots of places of interest. Large town with everything you need. The Ex Services Club excellent for meals.

Orange really has nothing for the tourist.
Orange really has nothing for the tourist. It's a nice town, but you've seen it all in a day or so. It's a bit of a drab place. We ate at local returned servicemens club which was excellent Parking is a pain; it's reverse angle.
The great western hotel was everything we wanted and needed for our big family Mel was the biggest help and friendly customer service support we had there on the day she made us rest early and get inside after a big drive from melbourne to orange and was making sure we know where to get to and everything is so we mostly stayed and knew mel was there to support us in every day in and out thank you Mel 🙏💗
It was a pleasant surprise to find such a gem. Clean, spacious, well-appointed, on a quiet street but within 5 minutes walking distance of the main street. This was my first trip to Orange, and the hosts were prompt and helpful in answering my questions (about key access, taxi to airport, etc.). I would definitely recommend it.
Incredible value for money and really exceeded my expectations! Very modern and spacious hotel with great facilities like plenty of parking, gym and quality restaurant with a decent buffet breakfast. The staff were all very friendly and professional.
Location is a short drive from the city but close to hospital.
The rooms were clean and beautifully furnished. The bathroom was very modern and we loved the Apelles toiletries. Breakfast was fantastic. We all loved the hot menu choices. The concierge was very helpful in pointing out some popular places of interest around Orange that we ended up visiting.
A very stylish hotel, a huge effort made to create stylish comfort.
The close proximity to the lovely old streets of Orange was excellent.
The trees outside our window are fabulous as is the immaculate grass tennis court in the neighbours yard.
Excellent accommodation for a country city
The staff were excellent and made me feel very welcome. The chef at the bistro was quite a character as well. I enjoyed one of the curries he had added to the menu. The standard of the meal was above the normal offering from a pub.
excellent place, I travel around NSW a lot. This place was one of the best if not the best place I have been to. nicely decorated, very clean and very spacious. beds are very comfortable as well. loved it.
Easy checkin and out, the staff were great. Bed was super comfy and the mini breakfast bags were a really nice touch! Rooms are quiet and well ventilated. Hotel is in a great location for exploring orange
Breakfast supplies a lovely surprise and the apartment very convenient to the gorgeous Cook Park and the centre of town. Many pubs and RSL for meals. We had a perfect stay at Orange. Many thanks.
