We were received very warmly by Hazel. The view from the house and the garden was beautiful. Apartment was nice and warm, and the artwork filled it with personality. The visiting dogs were an absolute joy/bonus.

Good value. Close enough to walk to the front. It served its purpose. Had newish furnishings. It did not matter that there were no staff on site. The cleaning staff were friendly

We could either do breakfast ourselves (we came with everything) or have breakfast at the Marina Hotel, we did one on each morning. The breakfast at the hotel was beautiful. we had dinner there both nights and couldnt fault the first night. the second night we had a garlic bread, which was burnt to a crisp and so tough, it was inedible. We did mention it to the staff but just shrugged her shoulders. I believe she was new.

Guests at Grand Tasman Hotel can dine at the on-site restaurant and then listen to the evening entertainment in the bar. You can have a friendly competition playing billiards and darts.
