The staff were lovely and obliging. The service at dinner was great and the wait staff were lovely. The room was nice. The bathroom was clean and well appointed. Checkin was easy with happy staff to greet us.

Loved the quaintness of this place; it was full of character and personality. The room was spacious/clean/comfortable enough for our needs which was literally just somewhere to shower and sleep and I thought it was about right price wise, especially for a last minute booking over Easter. Location is perfect if you want to stay in Cessnock itself and be able to walk to shops/cafes/restaurants etc. and there is plenty of parking on site.

The staff were very friendly. The cabin itself provided everything we could need and was comfortable and warm even in the cold dreary weather. Full size fridge which is great for a family. Lots of pillows, towels & blankets. Best shower I think I’ve ever used at a holiday park. We didn’t get to use the pool due to the weather but it looked great.

Accomodation is basic old hotel, with room having just beds which were comfortable, with wardrobe, chest draws, one lamp and power point. It has shared bathroom men and women opposite ends of the hallway, which was very clean. The room we had was at the back so we had less road noise, but could still hear the ambulance going down the road.
For us the price was right for a short stay to go to an event in the Hunter Valley, and the staff were very friendly. Would stay again, if going to another event.
