Stay Margaret River, hotel in Margaret River Town

Stay Margaret River offers spacious guest rooms in a quiet garden setting. This 4-star hotel is an ideal base for exploring the Margaret River region.

The room was comfortable but you have to go to the common room if you needed bowls and spoons as none where provided in your room. The resort it self looked unkept. Had dinner at the restaurant on site which was a little disappointing.

One of my favourite places to visit!

One of my favourite places to visit! I live in the city (Perth) and not nearly enough people are as friendly and conversational as they are in Margaret River. The beaches are absolutely beautiful and you’re surrounded by nature. You must visit the Margaret River Chocolate Company, Wow Illusions, and the Margaret River Sweet Shop. And make sure to stop in at Cowaramup on the way through! Some of the roads are a little iffy, but majority have either been updated or are getting updated as we speak.

Beautiful scenery and wilderness to explore.

Beautiful scenery and wilderness to explore. Incredible wineries, breweries and a great distillery to check out. Excellent food options, and unbelievable coastal vistas. Go bush walking, enjoy the beach! Only downside is things can be a bit pricier than in a big city - ie: groceries, meals out etc. But that's a fairly minor complaint, and something to be expected.

This is a lovely town, but be aware it really exists just because of tourism. The vast majority of shops are there to support that, so gift shops aplenty! It’s worth a visit for an afternoon, or stay there, or locally, as a base, but in itself is rather limited.

Great little town, easily walkable, with many good places to eat and drink. Lots of good shops too. Close to lovely beaches, forest walks and many wineries. A very good location for those that enjoy the outdoor life and good food.

We were able to be accommodated in a chalet of our own choosing (one-bedroom with ensuite) very close to the rest of our group, who chose 2- and 3- bedroom chalets. Also, we loved having the BBQ area as a group gathering place in the evenings. It's beautiful there, right beside the river (Margaret River itself!). Our balcony was also really enjoyable to sit on, as it was peaceful, even when the ducks and parrots came to visit us! :) It was very convenient having our vehicle parked right at our door.

The caravan park is well maintained in a great location to Margaret River, only a short walk to the main street. The facilities are well maintained and some small activities for kids in the park - bouncing pillow, playground and a small pool, as well as plenty of BBQ areas. The cottage we stayed in was well kept with a kitchen and lounge area. The park was very quiet at night which was a bonus, and was surprising because it was school holidays

The location was perfect for us just 5 mins from Margaret river and close to things we wanted to explore. The retreat was quiet and peaceful except the kookaburras 🤣 our view from our deck hot tub was over the lake was beautiful. Our chalet was far enough away from the other ones so we felt that we had privacy. Staff were helpful but not intrusive. Altogether a wonderful few days away.

The chalets were perfect for our family of 4. Modern and clean, with everything you need (including a BBQ) - and a stunning property to walk around, kayak or swim in the dam, and play with the owners’ dogs. Only minutes away from Margaret River township with supermarkets, restaurants and cafes etc. The owners were great and made staying an absolute pleasure!

Wilderness House is in a perfect location, not far from Margaret River township, set amongst beautiful Australian bush. With wrens busy in the garden, the bunny's and parrots create a peaceful setting. Gayles' breakfast is devine and certainly substantial. Gayle knowledge of the area certainly makes navigating the many things to do in the area easy.

Amazing location. Close to Margaret River, Cowaramuo, beaches, forrest. New chalets were great with their common terrace that had views onto the trees. So peaceful. Loved all the surrounding nature and walking tracks just down the estate. Very friendly staff. Nothing compared to my first experience 5 years ago. I can't wait to go back!
