Fig Tree Cottage, hotel in Darlington

Set in Darlington in the Queensland region, Fig Tree Cottage has a patio and mountain views.

Arriving at Cedar Glen Farm Stay - WOW! Location was absolutely beautiful - the farm and mountains surrounding the property are a beautiful backdrop for an offline stay, lots of animals on the farm to see/feed, and the tiny home was very clean and comfortable. The hosts were very friendly and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. We were able to explore the property freely and check out the other cottages and spots to stay. They have some paid activities you can do whilst there, and have a creek that the farm doggos Georgio and Armani will lead you down to with a few special words for a swim on the hotter days. The hosts even got our fire started for us (thank you!!) and when it started raining they heard us outside, and brought us umbrellas to be able to stay outside which was really thoughtful. We had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to go back! Have been telling all my friends about this spot. Thanks again!

Beechmont Estate, hotel in Darlington

Breakfast and Dinner were amazing. The cocktail class was made up of 3 drinks and our host Felipe was awesome but so was the rest of the entire staff throughout our stay. We did a garden tour before dinner with one of the chefs who is part of a new husband-and-wife team that recently took charge of The Paddock. The food overall is amazing and glad we could do two dinners so that we could taste everything on the menu!

Clouds Safari, hotel in Darlington

Clouds Safari is situated in Beechmont and offers a garden and barbecue facilities. The property is 25 km from Mount Tamborine, and complimentary private parking is available.

Location remote but that’s obvious if booking mountain stay. Host was very friendly and welcoming and had left us down home made pasta. We ate out at the pub that night though so didn’t eat it. Great spot for glamping. Terrible rain when we were there which made moving the car difficult and a very slippery path down to the hut so be prepared for that if the weather is bad. Bathroom out the back is a long drop bit clean and wel equipped for glamping… Bed very comfortable and had a bath with amazing views and bath salts provided by the host, very special. Would recommend.

Cedarview Bed & Breakfast, hotel in Darlington

Our stay here was excellent! The views from the garden were absolutely stunning, the location is beautiful. So quiet and serene. The room was very spacious, the bed was so comfortable. There was lots of board games for us to play. Good location for Binna Burra walks. Karen and Ken were so helpful on both check-in and check-out to give us information on the local area and what to do there. The homemade sourdough bread for breakfast was a lovely touch, they have thought of everything to make a wonderful stay. The kitchen and bathroom were both well equipped. If you're lucky you will see the wild Wallabies and Kookaburras here! We had such a great stay and would love to come back again to enjoy this beautiful place.

James & Ingrid generous hosts, thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Neatly designed studio, spotlessly clean bathroom with a spacious shower and shower head was perfect, warmed up quickly, well stocked kitchenette, and they even gave us freshly baked high top white loaf and ice cream, the bed was comfortable and warm, and you don’t notice if the other person moves, cotton linen was fresh and quality. Showcased Beechmont country lifestyle with diverse range of bird life to enjoy right in front of you. Well maintained gardens and Lucy the Westin was quiet and a darling.

    The hosts are incredibly accommodating.

The hosts are incredibly accommodating. We were due to stay in Beechmont and, unfortunately, the accommodation was affected by the wild weather over Xmas/New Years. On the day before we were due to arrive, I phoned Nathan as an alternative accommodation and he took us in and welcomed us. We all had an absolute ball with tips on swimming holes, animal feeding, kayaking and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Would 100% recommend and look forward to going back again.
