We spent 1 night - Kumbia is quite close to the western Bunya Mountains so is a good place to stay if not staying in the more expensive accommodation in Dandabah (eastern side) or camping in the National Park itself. It doesn't have any sights to see and food options are limited and depends on day what is available. We stayed Friday night and ate at the the Liberty truck stop - they do huge and extremely tasty roast meals (+7 veg) but if you are not early or pre-book you may miss out, the other food was normal fast food including burgers.
