I cannot recommend this guesthouse highly enough. It was charming, comfortable, warm and clean. At every turn the owners were incredibly thoughtful - fires were lit for us before we arrived and during our stay, the kitchen was well equipped and provisioned with more than ample delicious food and the beds were some of the comfiest we have slept in. I lost a sentimental piece of jewellery over the course of the weekend - I wasn’t sure if I may have misplaced it in the house - and the owners very willingly and kindly spent the day after our stay searching high and low for it (finally found elsewhere in Mudgee - and they were very good humoured about it!). I would love to go back, it’s a true gem.

The welcome from staff was friendly, the room basic but very comfortable and water pressure in the shower was great. We were right in the middle of town, had access to off street parking and the beer was cold. We were pleasantly surprised by how many venues were open in Gulgong on a Saturday night - all easy walking distance from our room.
