Location is beautiful! King Suite has a balcony which was nice to sit out on. The king bed & pillows were so comfy! Shower has awesome pressure which was very nice to stand under

Perfect sized room, with all the facilities. We visited Mackay for a sporting event and the Rydges provided everything we needed for a very comfortable and no fuss stay.

Was unsure at first, once settled in, met friendly occupants at the time of stay, Some of them were there for the same reason I was. Very close to the city area and shopping facilities. Was convenient for where I needed to get too. If given a refurbishment, this could be a really great stay in, looking forward to seeing improvements in the near future.

Check in was an absolute breeze, They even allowed us a late check out( 6pm ) at no extra cost.
We were there as a group playing sports they allowed the people that had a 9pm flight to leave there bags behind so we could all come back and shower and wait until needing to go to the airport.
