Clunes is a town with a lot of grand old buildings, and a rich early mining history. Is a town that would enrich peoples knowledge of early years of the gold rush era, has farmers markets, and good eateries.

The historic buildings were just gorgeous, and the feel of the town was very relaxing and very easy to get around as every thing is close. We ate at Quigley & Clarke which I had researched on line & we were very happy with our brunch Not a lot to see but then Daylesford, Creswick, Maryborough are not far away and all of them have different things to offer & worth the visit as well.
