Wildwood was an idyllic accommodation for us, we wanted something that felt like part of the natural surroundings and it felt just like that, but while also being comfortable and practical. Our hosts were really friendly and made us feel very welcome as well as giving us tips for the area.
We stayed in Black Bean cabin which had a fantastic view out into the rainforest and overlooked a little creek which serenaded us to sleep each night.
For practical purposes, we were a couple and took food to have a cooked meal each day for four days, as well as snacks and drinks. The fridge is a decent size but we also had a cool box to store things that didn't need to go in the fridge such as potatoes. Everything we needed to cook and clean was there including a really good gas bbq. You can drink the water in the cabin too.
The location is great for accessing everything north of Daintree River and we easily did all the boardwalks, ocean safari and Cooper creek cruises all within a short drive / walk.

We loved everything. The location, the rainforest, the beaches, learning more about tropical fruit, the family history, the cabin ❤️❤️❤️, the welcome, the peacefulness, the gorgeous fruit basket with the yummy breakfast. Even learning and being aware of living totally off grid was so interesting and it still felt so comfortable with all you could need. Thank you so much for everything!
