The location in Mödling is great for visiting Vienna. The hotel is also really close to the older part of Mödling. It’s charming really.

The evening staff at the restaurant were accommodating and eventually started to recognize when we'd come in from out day of touring around the neighboring towns & cities.

The location was perfect and the accommodation was not the same photo's as on the booking (we saw a couch - which was not in our unit) but I believe there are 2 units in the same complex and that photo is on the door of the other unit, however that unit was sufficient for what we needed it for (just sleeping).
We did have a problem with the toilet roll holder that came loose from the wall and waited 3 days for them to come and fix it. We also had a problem the first 2 days getting into the front door of the complex (they painted it the day before we arrived and the paint was not totally dry yet - so it stuck and the door could not open.
I read the rules in the unit and didn't see that we needed to be out of the unit before 11am. We emptied it and hour late and was charges EUR40 penalty. We made sure everything was clean and in place (even vacuumed the hole unit) . the shops were in walking distant and very convenient.
Overall it was a good 15 nights and I will stay there again should I visit Austria again.

for starters, our room was not ready, we checked in at 8pm, the room was still dirty, unmade, so they upgraded us, but that room was also dirty, unmade, once we finally got a room, we went for dinner in the hotel restaurant, the service was ok at the beginning, we got our starters, then my partner got her main dish while we were still eating our starters, and my main dish never showed up, so i went asking for it, as nobody checked on us.....my main finally came, while my partner already finished hers.....the A/C in the room barely worked, we left it all night long....totally useless.....the room, bathroom felt dirty, we found broken glass under the bed, shower gel dispenser was empty, hand wash dispenser also, 1/2 toilet roll......when we checked out, we were quite thirsty after a tough night, so we asked for iced tap water, the waiter was "confused", he gave us tap water without ice, so i asked again for ice in it, he asked for 1 euro 80 cents for it, i asked why, he replied the charge is for the ice and the service.....i told him he could keep his water, outrageous!!!, worst hotel experience ever. We were meant to come back to it after a week touring in Austria before flying back, we cancelled as soon as we could !!!
The room was a bit outdated but it was clean and the beds and pillows were good. The breakfast had everything you need to have for breakfast. Also, we arrived late, after the checkout hours, but we contacted the hotel earlier and they left us a key in the key safe (I don't know the name of that) and they sent us a passkey in the messages.
Overall I had a positive experience.
If you want a quite hotel in Mödling this is the one.
There is a restaurant in the hotel that is always filled with customers. Unfortunately I didn’t have time to try it but it seems very good. There is big supermarket near the hotel. Also spacious car parking. It will be around 25m drive from the hotel to inner stadt (Vienna city center)
The location was great since it is really close to Mödling station and from there you can go everywhere. Also the restaurant had great food and they always give you a complimentary strawberry ice drink at the end which is really nice of them.
Complete floor of private house. Excellent kitchen, bathroom & living areas with lovely outdoor terrace. Short walk into Modling with many restaurant & cafe eating options.
Very friendly & helpful host on site. Would highly recommend.
Close proximity to Vienna and the value/cost ratio makes this hotel a real deal. Breakfast was outstanding. My whole family still talks about the variety of food we had there and the quality of those. Rooms were convenient and clean.
The owners of this small hotel were very friendly and helpful. It was in a very quiet location very close to the railway station, very clean and the breakfast was very good. I could recommend this hotel.
The staff was very nice and helpful. Everything was very clean and it looked better than the photos. Amazing breakfast, nice range of food. The hotel is very cozy and welcoming. I recommend it!
