Alpen Hertz Romantic hotel was one of the best in our long history of skiing. The hotel is clean, looks new, the rooms are large and the hotel is close to the ski slopes. Excellent food. Dinner menu is wide: you can choose meat, fish or vegan dishes. The food is lovingly prepared, like in good restaurants. Plenty of vegetables. Large spa area at no extra cost. The swimming pool is open 24 hours a day. Plenty of different temperatures and types of sauna. Every evening there are sauna programmes organised by experienced masters. There is an outdoor pool. + Food: overall was really good. Both the adult meals and the children's buffet. We also loved that they always had a baby station where you could get Hipp baby food and milk. We also liked that they provided snacks in the afternoon that you could just take + Rooms: were spacious and comfortable. The bed was excellent. + Kids area: this was really impressive. They had a climbing room and two play rooms for the children. It felt really good to leave our toddler there during the day with the nannies.

Beautiful location, next to a small pond and half way up a mountain. Lovely forested walks on the doorstep. Classic, traditional Alpine hotel with loads of character and charm. Friendly and helpful staff. I had the half board option and the evening meal each night was delicious and extremely varied. Fantastic! My bedroom was simply decorated, but the bed extremely comfortable . The water pressure and water temperature in the shower great. My room was extremely quiet. The WiFi generally worked well. Overall a lovely stay. Would recommend.
