It is a great place for sports, trekking, cycling, swimming. The lake is extra clean and you can easily reach the tops of the mountains around. If you don't stay in any hotel, you can find a quiet place to swim not far from the main street.

Fusch am See is one of the many lakes in the Austrian Salzkammergut region. Beautiful nature, interesting scenery, there are many attractions and a lot of beautiful walks. Tourists can be visit nearby Salzburg or use a cog railway from St. Wolfgang upto Schaftberg and then walk down hill. The reward will be wonderful views of the alpine peaks and lakes.
Beautiful hotel close to the lake. We had stunning lake view from our room. Owners are very nice, we felt ourselves like being in the family. Good restaurant, which is also fully managed by the hotel staff, morning breakfasts were reach enough. You can receive at the reception a key card for 10 euro deposit for free access to the city beach located in front of the hotel - very useful feature we regularly used in the evening after the trails. Regular cleaning of the room and the whole hotel is very clean and cozy.
We booked this on short notice and were pleasantly surprised. This adult only hotel is part of a bigger complex but well enough separated from the rest. Nice nature pool and a lot (!) of books available for free at the hotel. It is called a "Bibliotel" (mix of a library and a hotel). Very cool concept and a very wide array of books available (though about 80-90% is in German of course). Good breakfast.
Lovely and welcoming Austrian styled chalet overlooking a pristine lake with beautiful views, in a quiet small town close to Salzburg. The 1/2 board included delicious dinners that varied each evening with a lovely presentation. Breakfast was also plentiful with a variety of choises. The hotel was impeccably clean with a courteous & professional staff. Would highly recommend.
The apartment is in a very good location.
You have in a walking distance several hikes you can take which are suitable for children as well.
You have around many lakes and Salzburg as well in less than 30 minutes drive.
The apartment is well equipped for cooking.
The host was very nice and greeted us warmly.
We fully recommend this apartment and would like to come back!
It exceeded our expectation! It is perfect spot for families especially when you book apartments. The property is surrounded by meadows, there are cows, rabbits that attracts every kid attention. Apartments are well equipped. Location is 10 mins from Fuschl am See central water park/swimming pool. Owners are pleasant, supportive.
The pension is in a lovely location, right by the lake. The staff are amazing: really attentive, kind, and happy to give you advice about the best hikes and restaurants nearby. The rooms themselves are spacious, clean and very cozy. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to stay while exploring the area.
The house is PERFECTLY situated in Fuschl Am See with only a few minute walk to the village. The house has everything you need and is definitely as pictured though much bigger in person. The children’s toys were the perfect touch for our little girls!
Really beautiful and quiet locaton, lovely traditional Austrian chalet style farmhouse with generous sized rooms and great views. Breakfast was plentiful and filling. Irene was very attentive and everywhere was exceptionally clean and tidy.
Everything. A truly exceptional resort hotel. The staff is highly professional and always pleasant. Breakfasts were a pleasure. The beauty of the location is second to none. Located for easy access to bus transportation.
Loved the view, and the apartment was spacious and very well equipped. The hosts were very nice and friendly. I loved staying there. The location is great too if you visit the Salzburg area and the lakes around it.
Amazing stay! Very nice location with a lakeside view. My wife has a gluten allergy, and the host went out of her way to accommodate us and make sure we had food to eat. We would definitely stay here again.
The location was perfect for exploring, the owner was absolutely wonderful, friendly and helpful with local suggestions for restaurants and exploring. The apartment was spotless 😀.
