The whole area, the lake, the resort position are awesome.
Surrounded by forest and mountains, with a light blue lake in the middle.
The resort is super typical Austrian style village. Our room was in a cozy and very nice wooden house.
Right in front of us there is a resturant with bar that was always open and with a very kind personal.
Breakfast was super and rich.
I'll be back for sure.

Beautiful lake for bathing and gorgeous mountains. Excellent train service that can be used to get in or around. What is strange, the village has no downtown area nor a seaside promenade, it's more like a suburban quarter - you can't go for a walk in the town because it is nowhere to go.

Unfortunately when we arrived the one window in the room was open and we had at least.20 mosquitos in the room. One would think screens on windows in this area would be a must. The room was adequate for our needs, but not really clean, with a very small bathroom The couple operating the hotel obviously is working hard to manage the operation. As mentioned, good for.thw one night, but not a place.we will use again. The location though is beautiful.

Both rooms have balcony, one is facing South, one is facing East. The apartment we stayed in is ideal for 4 persons The landlady was very kind, she speaks Slovenian and Italian, and of course German, however unfortunatly not English. We also got complimentary season tickets to the nearby beach (Strandbad Faak am See) during our stay.

I had regular contact with the hotel approaching my stay by WhatsApp and email. I arrived quite late and I received a code to get in. Very helpful with providing a taxi/ transfer to hotel. Superb location, beside bus and train routes. Fabulous panoramic views from the balcony room. A vibrant farmer’s market on Thursday nights until late o’clock, 2 minutes walking distance from the hotel. Lovely local beer, food and crafts there.
