This little hotel is ideally located just a block from the hill of 7 colors and a block from bars, restaurants, shopping. The staff were lovely and so helpful even though we don’t speak Spanish and they don’t speak English. A nice breakfast was served with juice, fruit, coffee, a toasted ham and cheese sandwich, croissants and toast. We would definitely stay here again!

Beds were decent and clean. Location good.
No AC
Not the rest of the room though.
It would be best if you stayed at least one night here.
It would be best if you stayed at least one night here. Most of the time, you may make a quick stop here as part of a tour, but more than the 2 hours they give you is needed to enjoy the Colorado Hike. I recommend staying one night to hang out in the main square with a Mate, Coffee or beer, and enjoy some live entertainment at a local restaurant. There is something about this little town that brought a lot of peace. Check it out.

Beautiful primitive combination of scenery and people.
Beautiful primitive combination of scenery and people. Amazing nature views. The trip between Purmamarca and Salinas Grandes is breathtaking. 4500 meters altitude along the Andes, views changing every minute. I would recommend taking enough time for this trip both ways, since it is almost necesary to stop every minute for sightseeing. The trip is a destination in itself!!!
The apartement was well equipped with a comfortable bed, small kitchen with two chairs and small table. More than what we had in other budget style accommodations in the area. We liked the cathedral ceiling and the quiet location. Parking was possible in front of the house. Wifi worked well. Good communication with the host as long as our data plan provided internet connection. We had an international eSIM data plan, and the network coverage in the Purmamarca area is very limited.
A great hotel with apartments which are very comfortable and spacious. Check-in was very efficient we were even allowed to go in an hour early.
The bedrooms are quiet with loads of storage space and large double and twin beds. Loved the mattresses, everybody slept well. Breakfast is ample with plenty to choose from including fresh media lunas.
As a bonus there was live concert in the early evening with empanadas and wine. All recommended.
La Morada is the perfect hideaway for a trip to Jujuy, a green oasis just before you reach the red hills of Purmamarca. It was such a peaceful base to explore the surrounding areas. The staff were ever so friendly and it was a wonderful treat to have breakfast and homemade bread and scones ready for our arrival. Sitting on the porch and watching the hummingbirds and sunrise was an unforgettable experience that really made our trip.
This little hotel is magical. It is family owned and the pride in heritage and culture shows. Our hostess was so delightful and took special interest in making sure we were comfortable and informed about the lovely town of Purmamarca. The breakfast was fresh and homemade. We could not have had a better place to stay which reflected the deep roots of the Purmamarcan people and their pride of place.
Amazing place: the view is incredible, it is very quiet and peaceful. A perfect getaway to visit the Cerro de los Siete Colores. The apartment is quite cosy, I loved the bathroom with the view on the moutain. Very nice to have the breakfast delivered directly to the apartment. And the dog was really friendly !
It is not in Purmamarca itself, but it was ok as we had the car.
It seemed to be a small family owned property within easy access of Purmamarca. Very large, airy space, more like a vacation rental than a hotel. The beds were comfortable and it had a sitting area and kitchen. Everything was very clean.
Friendly staff, conveniently located for a short hike around the colores de sietes early in the morning. Safe. We booked a room with a private bathroom which was convenient.
Friendly dogs on property is always an added bonus :)
Incredible location with parking, extremely comfy bed, nice little kitchen area with fridge and kettle. Shower was good and hot. Host responsive on WhatsApp. Ideal place to base yourself in Purmamarca.
This hotel was exceptional. The units are spacious and comfortable, the views are amazing, and the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good as well.
Anahí and Quela are the best. They have wonderful suggestions for day trips to Purmamarca and great restaurants in the area. I can’t wait to my next visit.
