El Safari Dunes es un campamento permanente situado a 8 km de la base del desierto safari. Se trata de un pequeño campamento con 5 tiendas situadas en lo alto de las dunas. Todo. El personal es amable y atento. Incluso estubo pendiente de nuestra bebe para que pudiesemos comer tranquilos. 🥰 El conductor es también de 10/10!! Cierto es que el transporte és un poco caro (35 OMR). La habitaciòn tiene vistas esplendidas. La localización del campamento es idílica. Las actividades son caras pero las disfrutamos. La comida está muy bien. Nosotros repetiriamos encantados.

El Desert Wonders Camp se encuentra en las Arenas Orientales, que se extienden desde las montañas occidentales Al Hajar hasta el mar Arábigo. We chose this accommodation after reading the reviews and did not regret it at all. The host, Naser, was extremely gracious. We went in with our rental 4WD and got a little bit stuck on the way to the campsite but Naser gamely helped us get 'unstuck' and guided us on how to drive through the journey. As we were the only guests, he offered another tent for no extra charge, which we declined as we wanted to spend the night together (family of 5 adults). The tent itself had comfortable beds and a private bathroom which contained the basic utilities, but wow, the experience of showering under the open skies was so unique! We took up the sand dune bashing and ride to see the sunset, which was incredible and highly recommended. Nasr also took us to see his farm animals including his pregnant camel, which delighted my daughter (a vet student). The catered food was amazing! We had a typical Omani dinner of rice, bread, salad and roasted chicken with an amazing sauce, and breakfast of eggs, sausages, fruit etc which were very yummy. Free flow of dates and Omain coffee. After dinner, the 2 staff lit a campfire, where we gathered round and sang campfire songs just for the fun of it. All in all, this was one of the best highlights of our 9 days Oman trip!

Starry Domes Desert Camp II está en Bidiyah y cuenta con vistas al jardín, jardín, terraza, restaurante y zona de barbacoa. Nos alojamos en una burbuja (nos tocó la mejor de todas :) ) y nos encantó. Tuvimos muy mala suerte con el tiempo pero aun así, fue una experiencia maravillosa. A diferencia de la mayoría de los camps, este no está en “un valle” del desierto. Está en dunas altas y eso te da una vista maravillosa. No necesitas hacer nada más. Tienes el atardecer y el amanecer desde tu habitación. Íbamos con una niña de 2 años y muy bien. Nos han tratado muy bien y nos han cuidado mucho a los 3. La familia que lo lleva es encantadora y El contacto con ellos muy fácil y cómodo. Es una experiencia íntima porque son pocas casitas y romántica. La habitación y las vistas son una maravilla. No pudimos ver estrellas por el clima, pero verlas desde la tumbona de tu terraza es una gozada seguro. Muy poco iluminado de noche y encima de una duna lo hace óptimo para ver las estrellas a diferencia de otros resorts mucho más iluminados. El desayuno en la habitación fue una maravilla. Solo nos faltó un poco de leche para el café.

Host always has a smile on his face, dinner and breakfast, separately ordered, were excellent.
