We met Linda, one of the owners who was very friendly and chatted with us about the history of the area and house. We mixed up our stays with chain type motels/hotels and prefer the B&B type properties but if you want room service, swimming pools etc then this isn't for you but if you want charm, character and history then a big thumbs up for us.

This Tennessee hotel is 15 minutes’ drive from Smokey Mountain National Park. Berry Springs Lodge guests will enjoy a 3-course breakfast, on-site fishing, and hiking. The stay was wonderful and the owner and the staff made us feel very welcome and part as their own family. The Thanksgiving dinner they cooked for the guest was excellent and I highly recommend it for everyone to stay at Berry Spring Lodge.
