We saw an angry elephant, many birds, a leopard and a quarter of a sloth bear.

We were a close family group of 7 persons in 3 rooms. You will not be disappointed. It is only 100 metres from NP entrance & lake edge. Magical entry is unique thru bush path that opens onto safari style forest huts in keeping with the secluded setting. The rooms were exceptionally clean, beds comfy with mosquito nets. Ensuite was spotless. The best part was our host Neehal! His limited English was more than made up for by his entusiasm & attention to detail. Were ate all meals on site and were exceptional provided by Sanjay.. Highly reccomended !!! Ask Neehal about our safari guide Bhashi from Visit Wilpattu - our no 1 experience in whole of Sri Lanka.

Wilpattu homestay by Ceylon group está a 35 km de Kumbichchan Kulama Tank y ofrece alojamiento con restaurante, bicicletas gratis, jardín y salón de uso común. Great stay at this homestay. The guys were super friendly and helpful. They also organized the safari tour for us and everything worked!! The homestay is in a quiet area close to the park what makes it super comfortable.

Glamping Wilpattu by Thamaravila se encuentra en Wilpattu, a 34 km de Kumbichchan Kulama Tank y a 34 km de Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi. Priya and his team couldn’t do enough for us and was so attentive with utmost understanding and kindness to our 22month old daughter. The food was fine dining at its best and kept making the chicken soup my daughter couldn’t get enough of. Priya’s knowledge of the wildlife in the park was great and again focusing on wildlife our daughter could see.

Los huéspedes del Leopard Trails Wilpattu podrán conocer de cerca la fauna y la naturaleza de Sri Lanka en un camping de tiendas equipadas con baño privado. Magnífico todo. Desayuno exquisito. Personal muy atento. Las tiendas de campaña son una pasada. Muy limpio.

El Big Game - Wilpattu by Eco Team está situado junto al parque nacional de Wilpattu y ofrece tiendas amplias con un baño integrado. Quiet and cozy. The staff was phenomenal. We mistakenly got our dates mixed up (thanks jet lag) and showed up a day early. Staff was very accommodating and we were able to move up our booking by a day. Dinner was lovely and both afternoon and morning safaris were great. We loved our guide!

Mango villa wilpattu está en Nekattegama y cuenta con vistas al jardín, jardín, terraza y bar. Really good location close to the national Park. We were originally supposed to stay in Green Sapphire but they let us down a few hours before we were due to arrive (seems they’ve done it a lot looking at the Google reviews), but the Mango Villa team had everything sorted even though we booked just a few hours earlier that day they were still able to organise 2 full day safaris for the following 2 days where we saw all sorts of great wildlife. Staff are all really friendly, especially the man who brings the food across in the evenings (unfortunately I don’t know his name). The food is good especially considering the remote location and nice packed lunches for the safari each day. Definitely the place to stay if you’re planning a Wilpattu safari!

Wilpattu Lakwin Guest se encuentra en Pahala Maragahawewa, a 31 km de Kumbichchan Kulama Tank, y ofrece alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y terraza. Spacious room about 10-15 min drive from Wilpattu. Our host was very friendly and arranged a tour to Wilpattu for us. We got breakfast and lunch for along the way which was very delicious. Breakfast next morning was delicious again. We left with the bus which stops 100m from the guest house.
