Such attention to details - hooks conveniently located, lights at all the right places and all of them are dimmable from a remote control. Very clever use of space to fit in all the amenities. I enjoyed spending time in my room! The common spaces are wonderful too - a brand new pool table at the dining area. Miyu and her husband are very hardworking and talented. I feel so lucky to have been their guest. Highly recommend Koke Musu:Inn to all travellers with a sense of adventure. The inn is a short 15-min walk from the station and is just across Lake Biwa. There are many eateries nearby, as well as convenience stores and supermarkets. Perfect place to spend a few days.

El Guesthouse En es una casa situada en Maki, Shiga. La estación más cercana es la estación JR Omi-Hachiman, ubicada a 12 minutos en coche. El alojamiento tiene cocina con microondas y tostadora. The home was beautiful and comfortable. The neighbourhood was quiet and peaceful. The hosts were helpful, friendly and kind. Everything we needed was provided. We were picked up at the train station and were able to pick up supplies on the way to the home. We had a very relaxing stay even though it rained the entire time. The host took us site seeing on the way back to the station and shared knowledge about the area and history. We had a fun time!

El Inase Otsu Machiya Bed and Breakfast, ubicado en una antigua residencia de comerciantes locales, está situado en Otsu, a 700 metros del templo Mii-dera. A unique place with peaceful atmosphere. I enjoyed my time a lot. Everything was excellent.

El Biwako Hanakaido ofrece baños de aguas termales al aire libre y cubiertos, 3 sitios para comer y habitaciones con balcón y vistas al lago Biwako. Lovely food, staff, baths, own private dining room, meticulous service and very clean area. I think it’s almost impossible to top in those regards. The room with its own hotspring was divine. The massage was excellent. Would recommend.

Hiei Blue Roof - Vacation STAY 13887 está en Otsu, a 8 km de Templo Enryaku-ji, a 8,7 km de Templo de Eikan-do Zenrin-ji y a 9,3 km de Shugakuin Imperial Villa. We booked this property with a bit of hesitation as there were very few reviews on booking.com and we didn’t regret it a second! It is in a very peaceful residential area, quiet, restful night’s sleep is guaranteed which was very important to us. The house is warm and cosy as we had a bit of a cold weather it was important. We felt at home and had a great base to explore the city of Kyoto, Otsu and all the surrounding area. There’s everything you would need in a household and more. There’s also a nice garden which we couldn’t use due to the cold weather. The owner is a very sweet attentive lady and a great host who took care of every single need of us, so that we felt like staying in a friend’s house. With or without car this accommodation is a great choice to escape the crowds of Kyoto and yet be in 25 min distance to downtown Kyoto. We stayed there for 10 days and explored the whole area. I cannot recommend Sayo’s place enough! I would love to come again sometime.

Farm stay inn Sanzaemon-tei 別館 2023OPEN Shiga-takasima Reserved for one group per day Japanese Old folk house es un alojamiento con wifi gratis y vistas a la montaña que está en Takashima. ・Even though I was traveling by train, the family welcomed me warmly. ・There was a landscape rich in nature that was different from Kyoto and Osaka. I liked the ricefields, the Biwa-Sea, the Mountains and the special spezies of the Mammut trees. ・The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. It is a big house very nice equipped, there is a big kitchen with all you need. There are nice flowers and the linen of the beds is so soft. I felt like at home. And I enjoyed the bath. I recommand very much to stay in this wonderful house with this wonderful family. I would really like to come back one day.

Guesthouse Shin se encuentra en Omihachiman, a 37 km de Templo Enryaku-ji y a 38 km de Templo Sanzen-in. My wife and I are not young folks anymore. The trip to the bathroom during the night was somewhat difficult for us. The bedroom was on the upper floor in the lovely traditional Japanese house. The narrow stairway was challenging for us. There is ample room downstairs and perhaps owners would accommodate a request to put the bedding there.
