Friendly, helpful host with quick response time. Beautiful view of Lake Thun & Mt Niesen from all facings of the house. The house is very clean and it comes with high end appliances, as well as a jacuzzi that faces breathtaking views of the lake & mountain. Quiet and serene neighborhood.

Easy check in process to get key to the house. The views from the house were stunning and from the balcony with very little to block the views. Can see the mountains and lake from the house. The local bus stops in front of the house. The house was well insulated and warm. Whole house to ourselves. The bed linens were thick. Spacious living room and dinning room. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, plenty of utensils, plates, waffle iron, a fondue pot, electric stove, electric tea kettle, dishwasher, trash bin, refrigerator, and a coffee maker. There's a washing machine in the basement to wash clothes and then dry them on the clothes line in the boiler room. There was free wifi in the house. Plenty of closet and drawer space to store our clothes and shoes. Two bathrooms to share (1 upstairs with a shower, 1 on the ground floor). The neighborhood was peaceful at night and located in a quiet town. A fairly short distance to Lake Thun shoreline. Someone came by to mow and maintain the front lawn. Central location to places we wanted to go ie. Town of Thun, Interlaken, The St. Beatus Caves, Jungfrau, Bern, Lucerne. Extremely affordable lodging compared to places like Interlaken and bigger too! Fairly quick response from host for any questions you may have for them. Provides check in instructions days in advance. Ideal lodging if you plan to rent a car.

Un lugar muy especial, lleno de encanto y de historia. Una vieja mansión con unas vistas al lago espectaculares. La chica que lo attendia siempre nos recibía con una sonrisa. Un gustazo....de verdad. (Absténganse amantes del lujo ) porqué no hay ni aire acondicionado, baños compartidos y el suelo al caminar suena a casa con mucha, mucha historia. Aquí es como retroceder al pasado, simple y auténtico. Nos ha encantado.
