Communication with the host was very prompt. The location was excellent, clean room, very good breakfast. The bathroom was very clean. The car can go right up to the guest house . Matilda was very helpful and gave us a few tips on what to do. I wish we could stay an extra night to enjoy this beautiful place. Looking forward to another stay at Kore Guest House.

The owners are fantastic and are very kind. The location was beautiful with a gorgeous view at breakfast. The room was large with plenty of space and the breakfast delicious and usually had a traditional albanian side to try. Just a note it is up a steep hill so if your hard of walking this may not be the stay for you, however also don't let that put you off as the entire old town area is on step hills

We loved the breakfast, everything fresh and homemade, freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh fruits and delicious homemade pastries. And the view from the terrace is fabulous.

Wow! This place is definitely worth a visit! Joana is an amazing host that ensures that her guests get the best possible stay at her guest house located high up on the hillside. The rooms are incredibly cozy that fits really well into the town's atmosphere. In the morning she prepares traditional Albanian breakfast, enjoyed with the beautiful view over the mountains and Gjirokaster castle. Highly recommend to stay here!

The place is adorable! Maria the owner gave us a warm welcome, set with us to explain every thing about the city and made us feel at home! the place is beautiful with a spectacular view over the city and fortress! the location is great close to the center and the fortress. the breakfast was good and we enjoyed it looking at the city :) The room was a part of a shared apartment and we had our private bathroom and shower, but you feel like you're visiting a family so you don't mind that it's shared :) Very important - it's a bit difficult to get there with GPS, I would recommend to get close to the place (about 300m) and than look at the place on Google Maps and try to get to the point just from looking at the map and not using the navigation, because it'll take you through small and slippery roads. Overall we had a great time over there! Thank you Maria!

One of the best rooms we have ever booked! We liked it so much!! Very clean and beautiful room, perfect location (near to the center). The owners very friendly and the did the best for us. We ate also dinner in the hotel's restaurant and we ate delicious and traditional albanian food!! The breakfast was full!! Our room (double deluxe) had perfect view and was perfect decorated! 🥰

The rooms are very comfortable, modern and Clean, although our room was a bit claustrophobic because of the slanted ceiling. Also we did not have a balcony, but it was compensated to us by a tiny terrace we could use along the stairway. This started to be problematic when we needed to dry our swimsuits and the host did not like the aesthetic of that since other guests are also passing through this area. This could be solved in a better manner. Otherwise, The host is overall nice and speaks English so well. She lives downstairs with her parents and a tiny baby, so anytime you need something, she is available. The location is good. Not to far from anything you would want to explore in Gjirokaster. Closest restaurants and shops are about 100m away from the facility.
