This guesthouse was very stylish and thoughtfully appointed. It had everything we needed and welcome glasses of port and sweets were provided. A nice touch. It was located on the first floor by a staircase above a very popular pasteleria which is where breakfast was served. This was one of the best breakfasts we have had and staff could not have been more helpful in ensuring we had everything we wanted during our 2 night stay. Car parking was very easy and convenient and free which was an added bonus. The guesthouse is also close to the train station We highly recommend A Tendinha to anyone staying in Peso da Regua who can manage a short flight of stairs.

Imagine living right in the winery! With breathtaking views of the vineyards and the Douro River. Martin is a wonderful host, very friendly. He taught us how to play a new board game, it was a lot of fun! We had dinner together and in the morning we had a lovely breakfast with an abundant selection of different local products. Martin also gave us a tour of the vineyard and winery and we tasted the wine he makes himself (delicious!). It was an unforgettable experience, thank you!

The staff (reception, housekeeping, and the cook) all received us with warm hospitality. The breakfast (home made pastries, regional charcuterie, made to order eggs)were delicious. The gated parking area was secure and easy to access.

One of the best places we have ever stayed! The view from the room was amazing and the hosts were the best. Breakfast is the best we've had in Portugal.
