Fantastic location with lots of restaurants within a short distance. The rooms were impeccably clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Situated in a restored 18th-century home, Casa Da Piedade offers a lounge with fireplace, outdoor garden with barbecue and brightly decorated rooms. Wi-Fi and parking are free. The hotel is very cozy, with a clean room and access to the yard from the room. Welcome drink and sweets pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend this hotel

Offering a terrace and city view, Alexia Room is set in Funchal, 1.7 km from Marina do Funchal and 15 km from Girao Cape. Alexandra is a great host, super friendly, and helpful. She personally welcomed us, even though we arrived very late. The room was super comfortable, and the breakfast was great, fruit, bread, cheese, ham, yogurt and some sweets 😋. She also have some fruit and welcome snacks ready for us.

Located in Estreito de Câmara de Lobos and only 2.1 km from Vigário Beach, Vila Afonso provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Vila Afonso is a hidden gem - it was our little slice of paradise! The view and property itself are just out of this world, the property grounds are so beautifully maintained that it's wonderful to just lounge about in the garden all day. The owner was most helpful and kind, making sure that everything was in order, and he even provided us with lactose free milk for breakfast upon request!

Sunset House in Arco da Calheta provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a terrace and barbecue facilities. Very clean and spacious room and house, with amazing views. Comfortable bed, good shower pressure and temperature. A generous kitchen that would be excellent for long stays.

Offering a garden and sea view, Encanto do Sol is set in Ponta do Sol, 500 metres from Ponta do Sol Beach and 1.7 km from Lugar de Baixo Beach. This beachfront property offers access to a patio. During our stay at Encanto do Sol in Madeira, Juan and Catia, our wonderful hosts, made our experience truly exceptional. Their warmth and hospitality were evident in every aspect of our stay. Notably, Juan's gesture of allowing us to freely pick fruits and vegetables from their garden, along with the delight of collecting freshly laid eggs from their chickens, added an extra layer of charm to our visit. The house itself, Encanto do Sol, stands out as one of the most beautiful places we've ever had the pleasure of staying in. However, what truly took our breath away was the panoramic view of the entire bay. Waking up to such a breathtaking sight every morning was a privilege, and we often found ourselves savoring aperitifs on the terrace, surrounded by the lush beauty of the garden. Speaking of the garden, it's a magical place in its own right. From the banana grove to the various other plants, it added to the overall enchantment of the property. It's a serene oasis where you can unwind and connect with nature. One of the practical advantages of Encanto do Sol is its convenient location. The charming village and the beautiful beach are just a 10-minute stroll away. This accessibility made our daily explorations effortless, yet we were always excited to return to the comfort of Encanto do Sol at the end of the day. During our stay, we used the house as our base to explore the entire island, and it proved to be an excellent choice. Should we have the opportunity to return to Madeira, there's no doubt in our minds that we would choose Encanto do Sol again. It's a place that captures the essence of Madeira's beauty and hospitality. Lastly, it's worth mentioning that the house is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a pleasant stay. From well-appointed rooms to a fully equipped kitchen, it's a home away from home.

Set in Câmara de Lobos, 700 metres from Vigário Beach, Casa da Cal - by Casas na Ilha offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. The concept was great of having a type of house with separate rooms but a common kitchen, pool. It was very quiet around but close to some of the best restaurants in Camara de Lobos.

In the Santa Maria district of Funchal, close to Almirante Reis Beach, Agnelo Comfort - Accommodation H V has free WiFi and a washing machine. This guest house features accommodation with a balcony. We had an amazing stay at this comfortable apartment! Central location to the market across the street and grocery stores and bus and the waterfront promenade. It felt like we were locals going to the grocery store and taking the bus, not like tourists! The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need! We loved it! Jose was a wonderful host and he was in touch with us from the moment we landed at the airport and any time we had a question he was quick to answer all of our questions! We didn't have a problem with noise from the market early morning but we always travel with a white noise machine so we didn't hear anything. We found the bed super comfortable. We were there for almost 2 weeks and cannot wait to go back to Madeira and hope that Jose's apartment is available when we do!! Thank you so much Jose!!
