Bringing out the chairs and cafe table from the room, and just enjoying the lively canal traffic, you can sit and wave to the various canal cruises, canoes and smaller boats, slowly passing, makes you feel like a true local :-) TIP: Remember to buy a bottle(s) of wine and some snacks, and you are all set. Location wise, It doesn't get any more central than this. Get up the stairs and you are in the middle of Utrecht, offering great beer bars, Michelling rate restaurant, Art galleries, boutique coffee houses. (However, a note about the stairs leading to room. They are quite steep and small. Not recommended for elderly or walking disability.)
