Featuring city views, Slapen onder de Dom is situated in the City Centre district of Utrecht, 90 metres from Museum Speelklok and 600 metres from Conference Center Vredenburg. Very authentic experience to stay in the remodelled old warehouse cellar, just beneath the center of Utrecht. Literally you stay on the canal shore, and the canal is just 3 meter away from the door. Bringing out the chairs and cafe table from the room, and just enjoying the lively canal traffic, you can sit and wave to the various canal cruises, canoes and smaller boats, slowly passing, makes you feel like a true local :-) TIP: Remember to buy a bottle(s) of wine and some snacks, and you are all set. Location wise, It doesn't get any more central than this. Get up the stairs and you are in the middle of Utrecht, offering great beer bars, Michelling rate restaurant, Art galleries, boutique coffee houses. (However, a note about the stairs leading to room. They are quite steep and small. Not recommended for elderly or walking disability.)

It takes half an hour with the car to go to the city center. Definitely recommend!
