On the edge of Loch Lomond and a 30-minute drive from Glasgow and its airport, this 4-star guest house has hearty Scottish breakfasts and free Wi-Fi. Excellent host who was willing to fulfil our special request of a very late check-in - a request that we found very hard to accept by other hotels or guest houses doing in-person check-in in that area. Fantastic breakfast menu you can choose from the evening before. Even better the taste and quantity of served meals we were not able to finish. We had a very short but the better stay at Gowanlea Guest House I would recommend to anybody. If coming back to Balloch and surroundings, definitely going to stay at Gowanlea again.

Located 29 km from Glasgow Botanic Gardens, The Loch Lomond Guesthouse offers accommodation with a patio, as well as a shared lounge. Beautiful house with lovely guest rooms with all the mod cons. Underfloor heating, usb ports, smart tv, fridge and more. A few minuntes from the Loch itself. Tartan co-ordinated rooms are special. My wife wants to copy it! Very friendly owners. Superb breakfast. Recommend the Great Scotts Bar at Cameron house for the ambience

Located in Balmaha and only 23 km from Mugdock Country Park, Arrochoile provides accommodation with lake views, free WiFi and free private parking. Such a beautiful home, very cozy, and breakfast was wonderful. Fiona was lovely to chat with and helpful with recommendations and directions.

Close to Balloch Castle Country Park, Woodvale is situated in Balloch and has a garden. Free WiFi is offered. A flat-screen TV and DVD player are available in some units. Breakfast was excellent. The hosts were super sweet. Facilities were clean and hospitable. They provided cookies to go with the tea/coffee.

Situated in Arrochar, TwoStones offers accommodation with loch and mountain views. Free WiFi is available. Ben and Hazel are great, they made a fantastic place and were really caring

The Garrison Of Inversnaid Farm with Hot Tub was built in 1719 and is set in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Free WiFi and free private parking is available. The Scottish highland cattle that our kids could stroke and feed under supervision of Kelly as well as big boar Perky were the highlights of our stay

Great breakfast with different variations - so will not get boring over time. Stunning view over Loch Lomond from the terrace. Additional refreshments available in the "living room". The Inn-keeper is very friendly and gives you very nice recommendations on dinner locations, hiking opportunities, ... What was also amazing that you get a free whisky every day as a nightcap!! :-)

Located in the picturesque village of Luss, just 3 minutes’ walk from the banks of Loch Lomond, Alderdale B&B features accommodation with outdoor seating area. Free public parking is possible on site.... Excellent B&B in a beautiful village. Comfy bed, spotless accommodation and a great selection of pastries, cereal, fruit, preserves and bread for toasting. Very dog friendly and great food in the pub next door.

Set in a beautiful 19th century converted farmhouse, Sheildaig Farm Bed and Breakfast has 3 courtyard rooms, all with their own entrance, ensuite shower room, queen size bed, TV, fridge, tea and... Such cosy and beautiful rooms! The hostess was such a sweet lady and we also loved the dogs.
