Situated in Cockermouth, 18 km from Buttermere and 22 km from Derwentwater, Tithe Barn - Self Check In Hotel features accommodation with free WiFi in a historic building. Amazing! Beautiful hotel and probably the best standard of a room i have ever seen. Never seen a cleaner room! Very comfortable bed.

In beautiful Lakeland surroundings overlooking an idyllic brook, Glencree is situated between the villages of Bowness and Windermere. Located in a perfect location within walking distance of a number of eating establishments Breakfast and staff were extremely helpful. Had a room on the top floor with a vertical spiral staircase. Ask for this room. Provided parking which was also a plus. The rate should have been higher as one could not ask for more. Would have paid more without a second thought.

Jerichos is beautifully renovated and run by a lovely couple who cook a mean breakfast. The room was incredibly comfortable. Also a very convenient 7 minute walk to the train station.

Just 1 mile from Lake Windermere this beautiful Victorian house is set in a peaceful location between Windermere and Bowness. Rooms were small, but very clean and comfortable. The staff and the breakfast were both excellent.

Craig Walk Suite is set in Bowness-on-Windermere, 38 km from Derwentwater, 43 km from Askham Hall, as well as 50 km from Trough of Bowland. Large room with kitchen. Loved having cold water in the fridge as well as welcome cookies, coffee and teas.

The Old Rectory features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Coniston, 18 km from Lake Windermere. The hosts were so welcoming and helpful. Lovely little touches that made the difference. Delicious breakfast. Really close to Coniston with lots of restaurants, bars and shops.
