The location was perfect for us, as we frequently crossed the border into Italy, and also travelled up into the lakes of Switzerland. The hosts were warm and welcoming, along with their hospitality, which was attentive without being intrusive. Our morning breakfasts were at an additional cost, however, the amount of food was unbelievable, as well as there being such a wide variety of freshly cooked pastries, lattice’s and deserts, along side traditional breads, cheeses, meat and fruit selections. With my partner being a vegetarian, our hosts made sure that her dietary needs were met, along with a daily explanation, which we found extremely understanding and adaptable. The scenery and upkeep of the grounds were exemplary, and there was a clear sense of pride in it’s appearance. Our room was bright, airy and spacious, with every attention to detail met. We opted for an apartment with a kitchenette and balcony, where everything we needed was already in place. Really very well thought out and of good quality, which was a great touch. We adored our 3 night stay at this charming, new, and modern B+B located an easy 15 minute drive from Lugano. It's set up in the hills, in a very charming town with several excellent restaurants and all the conveniences within walking distance. Parking is very easy. The owners and staff are extremely nice, and the breakfasts are wonderful.

Situated in Dino, MT's Cosy Place features a garden. The room features a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom. The accommodation offers free WiFi throughout the property. Excellent accommodation: spacious, clean, quiet and the shutters make it completely dark. The host was very friendly. Parking was not a problem, I parked my motorcycle right outside the house. I definitely recommend!

Peacefully situated 9 km from the centre of Lugano and its Exhibition Center, Salotto Brè - Bed & Breakfast charming rooms features a free WiFi throughout the property. The location is very cute, the building is very charming and extremely well kept. The shared bathroom is super clean and well arranged. My room was simple yet functional with a very comfy bed.

B&B Il Vigneto is located in Melano. Free WiFi access is available. Shared bathroom also comes with a shower. At B&B Il Vigneto you will find a garden and a terrace. A room in a very lovely house. Right next to mountain and facing to the lake. You can enjoy both lake and mountain views from your balcony. Has a parking lot in front of the house. Tenant was very friendly. Breakfast was great. She asked us what we prefer for breakfast and that was very nice of her. It is a very quite place so you get a good sleep.

Villa del Sole Garni is located in Ponte Tresa, a 20-minute walk from Lake Lugano. It offers accommodation with kitchenettes and terraces, overlooking Monte di Varese and Malcantone. Everything was amazing. Our hosts were very friendly and kind. Beautiful and clean room with a great terrace. Homemade confiture that was served with breakfast from fruit grown on the property was the best I’ve ever had.
