We liked the cozy, private home, it was clean and beautiful, fully equipped with all the things a person can need when it's travelling. They did a great job with the garden also, the only regret is that we didn't have enough time to fully enjoy it. We will definitely come back! If I could give a hundred stars, I would! The Quinta do Cabouco is amazing. The house is beautiful, cozy, with stunning views, it feels like being in a different world! The breakfast was excellent. We spent there a week and every day received a different kind of local fruit and cake, home made jams, fresh orange juice, etc. Filomena was very kind and helpful with everything. It’s just the perfect place if you want to spend your holidays in Madeira in a really unique place.

The hosts are great. Very warm couple. Very interested in their guest and with great ambitions about upgrading de hotel comfort always. The shared kitchen is very useful and free parking is great. Very close to our favourite restaurant of Madeira.

We had an amazing time staying at Casa do Miradouro! The views from the veranda were absolutely breathtaking and a favourite with the whole family!!! 😄 Our host, Leontina, was extremely friendly, kind and hospitable and we thank her from the bottom of our hearts for such an amazing stay. Everything was provided for (WiFi, hairdryer, washing machine and drying rack, dishwasher, plenty of kitchen utensils, lots of towels and good water pressure) so that our stay was as comfortable as possible. The kitchen was even stocked with tea, coffee, spices, salt, olive oil and vinegar. We were greeted with bottle of local vine and full bowl of fresh fruits ( and were given extra during our stay- all much appreciated! ). There are no stairs inside the house as the accommodation is just one floor but Leontina was extremely kind to let the kids play in the garden downstairs which had a hammock, a trampoline, palm trees and more incredible views! All the bedrooms were spacious and had comfortable beds, wardrobes with extra towels and bedsheets, chest of drawers and lamps. One of the bedrooms had an en suite which we very much enjoyed. The bathrooms and whole house were very clean and perfect for 4-6 people. We had an incredible stay at Casa do Miradouro and highly recommend it!!!!! Quiet location with just goats and rooster waking you up. Great base for exploring Madeira if you want to escape crowds at Funchal. Levada 2 walks ( Nova & Moinho ) nearby- just get down 5-10 minutes walking for start of levada Nova walk, breathing views! and waterfalls
