We had an amazing stay at this comfortable apartment! Central location to the market across the street and grocery stores and bus and the waterfront promenade. It felt like we were locals going to the grocery store and taking the bus, not like tourists! The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need! We loved it! Jose was a wonderful host and he was in touch with us from the moment we landed at the airport and any time we had a question he was quick to answer all of our questions! We didn't have a problem with noise from the market early morning but we always travel with a white noise machine so we didn't hear anything. We found the bed super comfortable. We were there for almost 2 weeks and cannot wait to go back to Madeira and hope that Jose's apartment is available when we do!! Thank you so much Jose!!

Our host was very kind, helpful and thoughtful. The property is very beautiful, with a very nice garden, pool and view over the city of Funchal. Everything is very well taken care of. The property is close to the old town, where you can find a lot of restaurants and bars. We also loved the fact that the property is not big, it only has a few rooms that can be rented, so it was very quiet. The breakfast was lovely, with an amazing presentation each morning. It was not a buffet, but the host cooked for you every morning and there is also a selection of cheeses and meat, as well as fruit, yoghurt and cake, not to mention coffee, tea and fresh juices. Our room was very spacious, especially the bathroom and it was cleaned every single day. All in all, we had everything that we needed, including beach towels, brushes to clean our shoes after hiking, many travel guides to get inspiration from

Nice rental, modern and cosy. Approx. 20-30 minutes walk from old town and center of Funchal. Going back is more tricky as you go up steep hills:) We rather took the bus back (10 minutes from center with many bus options) or sometimes ordered Bolt. Safe and peaceful neighborhood, mini market and bakery just around the corner. Host was very helpful with everything.

The location was perfect, very close to the city center and the beach whilst being quiet and reserved. The bedroom is really simple, so don't expect luxury (but the price is really adjusted). The breakfast is good: a lot of fresh fruit, different types of bread and so on. Also, a good positive point was the rooftop and the swimming pool on there.

Great location (9 mins walk to coast and Pingo Doce, 5 mins walk to Main Street with AEROBUS (no. 9) and local buses, max 30 mins walk to city center. Kitchen well equipped, whole apartment very clean. Comfortable beds, super local and private garage so no huddle to park a car on the street (park reverse and get class A/B car to fit easily). All super positive!

Surprisingly quiet at night (were little worried about it when we arrived). Definitelly recommend for stay in Funchal. Cheap public parking place 5 minutes away. Coffee spots, stores, market, and restaurants nearby. We were very satisfied with this place.

The breakfast was amazing: lots of choice and fresh fruit. The staff was very helpful. We especially liked the fact that the hotel is located in a quiet street (so no noise at night) but was still very close (20 min walking) to the city center.PaulYoung couple
