The place was super clean, cozy and calm, with a wonderful Blick to the channel. It located in a very especial neighborhood, three minutes walk to the bus station, and 10 min. to the city center by bus. Luc, the host was uncomplicated, kind and always ready to help. Sitting in the Balkon, watching the boats passing through water, and then relaxing in the jaccuzi made my trip memorable.

We loved the locality and though it's relatively away from city centre, it's well connected with regular bus service. It's a very peaceful locality where one will thoroughly enjoy his or her time. We also got bycycle and umbrella from the owners. It felt like family.

The Het Waterhof is located in a very old building, I found out upon arrival and Fred gave a tour and history of the building. The location is in the centre of Leiden and within walking distance of everything you need. Again a booklet has been produced by Fred and Marion with a list of recommended eateries, I attended a few and they were good. The breakfast is continental and extremely good. A very good standard of accommodation with everything you need. I would highly recommend it and will stay here again during my next trip to Leiden if it's available.
