Lovely place to stay - reasonably close to the sea, fascinating historical village and windmill nearby, peace and quiet in a countryside landscape. Very much enjoyed contact with the owner of the apartment.

Very friendly and helpful staff. We had a mechanical problem with our bikes and both Theo and Miranda did everything possible to support us. Besides, Workum is beautiful, the B&B is very well located and the the price is very reasonable. All in all a very nice experience

Very charming B&B with nice hosts. We loved the building which used to be a schoolhouse. Rooms are all unique and decorated with taste. Breakfast is womderful and location right at the entrance to Workum. Very relaxing garden

Wonderful and tranquil location just a couple kilometers from Workum and Hindeloopen. Shared bathroom and showers, huge new shower and bathroom facility just 50 meters from the main house. Option to enjoy the bar and have pizza with wine and beer too. The rooms were spacious.

Leon is a great host! Everything is very clean and tidy, there is free Coffee and Tea in the kitchen. Rooms are not big but again very well equipped and clean. Breakfast is also very nice with some fresh fruit and vegetables. The only topic which could be improved is that the matresses are rather hard, but the rest was perfect :)

Lovely hosts, next to talented artist studio. Close by all the historic sights. Excellent breakfast! Fantastic value. We loved everything.

The room was very comfortable and spacious. The communal kitchen and living room is a great size, and can easily be used by all guests without any feeling of intruding on others. The atmosphere in the B&B is so calm the whole time. The garden is amazing, very easy to unwind to the sound of nature in that garden. The host is extremely welcoming. We loved our stay at Piaam State.

A very warm welcome by a friendly and hospitable and accomodating host, nice terrace to enjoy, great coffee, fabulous breakfast (bread, croissant, cheese, bacon, egg brioche, yoghurt, fresh juice and fresh fruit, coffee or tea), freshly prepared as well. Nice room and rain shower.
