This was the best accomodation we've ever had. There were so many wow moments that it is difficult to describe it all. It is a small pension owned by a very nice couple, that made us feel better than at home. Room was very nice, clean, with big bathroom. There was a home made cake prepared for us when we arrived. Breakfast are freshly made by owners, everything is delicious, and there is a big selection of home made cakes, that are simply gorgeous. Surroundings are very nice as well. We felt so good we didnt want to leave.

Natali & Tony, the owners/operators, were lovely people who (successfully) worked hard to make sure our stay was wonderful. The breakfast was great and was much more than I expected. Natali was incredibly pleasant and friendly, and Tony helped me plan a really beautiful motorcycle route in the nearby area.

Perfect location and lovely view of the mountains from the window. The owners are excellent hostess The best breakfast in Scotland. It is a pity that we only stay one night.

Absolutely loved this accommodation and the host Helen and her employee Lisa! Enjoyed chatting with them about our day and having a good laugh. And the breakfast was the best we have every had! A lovely, remodelled building in central Ballater. Lynn and Steve were excellent hosts. The rooms were the perfect size for our needs and the facilities were clean and comfortable. A great breakfast to get started in the morning.

Great property in an amazing location. The welcome glass of wine was a nice touch but the main reason I would stay again, is the service levels. The owners really went above an beyond to make sure we were happy. Will definitely recommend to a friend!
