Wayne from Adelaide here. 56 and a little fussy and yet ... Amigos was fantastic. I can hardly believe the value for money and the level of service given to me. Bong was the site manager and he was amazing. I was doing a scuba diving course and asked for directions. He said jump on to the back of his scooter and then gave me a lift. He dropped me off and said just call him, he gave me his personal number, when I was finished and he'd come give me a lift. One night I said I wanted to go to Moalboal, a town on Cebu Island, the next day to meet a friend and stay overnight. He explained how I could catch the Ceres Bus and then the ferry and get there very cheaply. That was great but what was amazing was when I got up in the morning he had hand drawn a map with instructions all the way. Then he insisted on driving me up to the highway (it was only 350m) and waiting with me and making sure the bus conductor knew what I wanted. Esther is the main domestic and she was just as friendly and helpful. Besides the amazing service the room itself was great, the bed very comfortable (and I have a very delicate back so that is important) the place feels brand new. The air-conditioning was perfect, hot and cold water available in reception and a fresh carafe of chilled water place in the room each day, along with the daily cleaning of the room. I extended my stay three times. The price is the best I've had in the Philippines and that is crazy as the Amigo's is the best place I've stayed. To top it off there was a little Sare Sare store right next door, great restaurants just a couple of hundred meters in either direction (with recommendations from Bong), and a bigger convenience store just 250m up the road. You couldn't do better here!

Just a perfect place to stay near the beach, newly built and very authentic, the host Brigitte, is a wonderful kind and helpful lady. We really enjoyed our day and couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

A large and well appointed house sitting on a beautiful piece of property. Dogs and Kids welcome and guaranteed to have fun. This was our 2nd stay and we were very pleased with the experience. The 2 bedroom, air-conditioned house has a fully equipped kitchen, living and dining room. It sits in the middle of a large grassy garden with a bridge that leads to a stretch of sandy private beach. The caretaker family lives nearby and are super friendly .
