Drinking coffee in the morning next to the flowing Alva river with birds singing all around us - what an experience! The apartment was excellent, very clean and comfortable. The host was very friendly and we felt was really interested in our well-being. He also gave us a tour of the goat milk facility next to the apartments, which our children especially liked. The luxurious breakfast basket with local produce was a wonderful addition. We wholeheartedly recommend this place and will definitely be back when the seasons change!

Offering mountain views, Royal Collection Covilhã is an accommodation situated in Covilhã, 20 km from Belmonte Calvário Chapel and 28 km from Manteigas Hot Springs. Excellent spacious flat, extremely well situated and with very nice view. Manager Rita was all time available and the staff was attentionate and mindful of their guests' comfort. Thourough cleaning, change of bed linen and towels, etc.

First of all the responses and replies from Paula and Marcia were excellent, prompt and informative. Never have we seen such quick responses any time of the day...I was -4hr GMT. The apartment was clean and comfortable...All amenities for a comfortable stay was available. .They were there to greet us and explained everything in detail. They arranged a nice, must visit, cheese making factory. The breakfast was excellent. Looking forward to our next trip. Thanks once again Paula and Marcia...you made our New Year Bright! First of all, let me mention extremely helpful host family who helped us find the place. One has to follow Solar de Maceira name in Google, and not its address, because the main entrance is not on that street. We really enjoyed the garden, pool, views, goats and sheep in the evening coming to graze, closeness to Sierra de Estrella...

The apartment is historical and it was a nice surprise. We were welcomed warmly and even upgraded, though we arrived late and in pouring rain.

It was a giant apartment. Super clean. Felt like a home. Easy check in with keys supplied in a lock box. Plenty of parking right in front of the building. There is a grocery store two blocks away.
