Featuring a garden and views of sea, A.M.A Appartament is a recently renovated apartment located in Calheta Do Maio, less than 1 km from Praia de Ponta Preta. It was perfect. Very friendly and helpful and the apartment was even better then expected. Top!

Situato a Morro, il Barracudamaio offre la vista sul giardino e servizi gratuiti quali la connessione WiFi e un parcheggio privato. kristoph and Mona are a very hospitable and warm couple ( French/Norwegian) , you feel immediately at home with them. They pick you up from the boat and serve excellent meals, homemade bread and marmelade and cheese for breakfast, fresh fish dinners. They have created their own piece of heaven on a hectare of walled land. There are only two apartments, very cosy and well equipped. the dogs Jazzy and Irma are part of the family and make you feel straight at home as well. The beautiful beach is at walking distance very nearby, as is the lovely laid back village of Moro. Just walk to the beautiful centuries old baobab tree and you will find the village. From Villa maio/Porto ingles you can walk back to your apartment along the salt pans, a lovely one and a half hour walk.

A recently renovated property, Casa Carlotta Maio is set in Vila do Maio near Biche Rocha Beach, Praia de Ponta Preta. This beachfront property offers access to free WiFi and free private parking. The place is very cosy and the staff is super nice. They let me check out late. The breakfast is in a bar close to the forte Sao Jose and it is served from 8.30/9am.

Upon arrival I was greeted by staff who was super friendly and helpful throughout the entire duration of the the trip. Excited to return in the future.

Located 1.2 km from Biche Rocha Beach, Guest House Maio offers accommodation with a patio, as well as barbecue facilities. Franklin and his family are very open and friendly, we even got picked at the harbour to take us to the Appartement. The house is a little bit on the outskirts of town, but this makes it very quiet and gives a nice rural feeling. Anything we needed the Host was ready to give or help us. We could use the Appartement the whole day of our check out and Franklin gave us a ride to the harbour again. Thanks for the very nice stay!
