Everything was perfect! The location is amazing as its not too far away from amsterdam (15 minutes drive) and they also have a parking spot if you come with a car. The apartment itself is pretty big and nicely decorated. The scenery around the place is also amazing as its shows the beautiful green fields of this beautiful country with lots of wildlife roaming around the place (such as rabbits, chickens, horses, cows etc..). The breakfast served at the place is amazing and we really liked how it was delivered (in 2 big baskets full of goods) . And to sum it all up, we especially want to think Bram and Annelise who were awesome and really sweet towards us and really helpful and we hope to visit again sometime in the future :). The apartment was immaculate and had lovely hosts. I can't recommend this place any higher as it exceeded all expectations. The beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept on and the kids said the same. Netflix was available and various other platforms also which meant we could relax on the comfy sofas and enjoy family time. Unfortunately I had a motor cycle accident a day before we left so I spent most of my time in the apartment and I enjoyed every minute of it. The kitchen has everything you could need to cook for the family but also you are only 2 mins away from pubs and restaurants which are child friendly. I really could of spent another week there no problems. I must say again that the owners are amazing people who helped us out of a bad situation which I won't go into but they understood our issue and helped where other people would not have cared so 10 out of 10 for the hosts, apartment, garden, 1 min from bus station and all in all it was an amazing time and I can't thank the hosts anymore. Next time we visit that area I wouldn't hesitate to book again and the photos do not do the place justice enough and I recommend for family trips or a nice couples vacation. We stayed after my motorcycle crash and I was in a bad way and they couldn't have been kinder as I couldn't take bins ect out as I couldn't walk and they understood this and for what they did for us as a family I will be forever grateful. If you are staying in Edam pay the extra and stay here you won't be disappointed.

The apartment is situated in a prime location in the centre of Edam, yet it is quiet and peaceful. It is very spacious and has all amenities required to make it feel like a proper apartment and not a simple 'hotel stay'.

Beautiful spacious apartment in a very pretty small town - it was so nice to have somewhere quiet and peaceful to come back to. Getting the bus in and out of Amsterdam was straightforward, and there were night buses too, except Sunday night when the last bus was at 1am. Picking up the keys was easy too - we were given a combination code for a key box, so we were free to arrive in our own time. The beds were soft and comfy. There's a supermarket 10 minutes walk away and a couple of bars and gift shops right outside.

The room is stunning. Spacious, clean and with a nice view over the canal. Kitchenette is well provisioned. Bathroom area is also functional. A comfy sleep in a big bed. Owner was also lovely and attentive, messaging me if I needed anything.

Absolutely stunning interior design, space and location. The hosts are superb. Diana and Paul were so helpful throughout the stay. Everything is top quality and we found parking easy. Inside our bungalow there was information relating to the local area. We thought Edam was so beautiful and quaint. The streets and houses are immaculate. We would love to return one day. What an amazing highlight of our multiple location European road trip. Thank you so much Paul and Diana for the personal touch, attention and help. An amazing experience.
