Brilliant service and staff. Me and my husband stayed at the Andalus Hotel for 6 nights in April. The hotel itself was beautiful and as we had travelled in Ramadan there was some lovely decorations put up in the lobby which made us really embrace the festiveness. Room service was remarkable, and staff were swift in making sure we had what we needed. The hotel generally was very clean, and all the facilities were fantastic. Namely the restaurant and buffet service - there was a vast variety of foods, and whilst staying there during the fasting period of Ramadan, staff ensured we had everything we needed according to the specific timings. The restaurant itself had an extraordinary atmosphere, and the head chef was extremely accommodating, despite it being busy, he made a point of regularly coming over to check if all was okay. Before our trip, we were slightly apprehensive staying in Baghdad due to security etc., it was also the last stop of ours after an intense three country tour, however we were reassured and taken care of by the staff namely the general manager of the hotel, Mr Khalid. We had a variety of things to do during our short stay and Mr Khalid went far and beyond to make sure he made necessary arrangements for us when needed i.e. booking taxis, general suggestions about the area and assistance in many other ways. An extremely hospitable, approachable and friendly manager who is definitely a huge asset to the hotel. Despite it being a fairly large hotel with a lot of guests, we received remarkable one-to-one service you would only expect from a smaller hotel with less guests. On booking.
