Probably the best hotel quality/price during our trip. Milanca, the owner, is kind and helpful. She makes everything super easy, even we arrived at 3am due to the ferry schedule. The room is very cosy, the bed is comfortable. Everything is super clean.

My stay started off worrisome, but Roderick worked with me to make it amazing in the end. A new club/bar had just opened across the street right before I arrived. So, the first night, I didn't sleep at all. I even tried 2 different types of ear plugs, but the bass was so loud that it was shaking my bed... until 2 or 3 in the morning. I told Roderick the next morning and he moved me to another room. Still noisy, so he moved me once again the next day. At this point, other guests were also complaining so he went to talk to the new owners. After that, it was smooth sailing. The noise from that club pretty much stopped for the rest of my 8-day holiday. My final apartment had a lovely view of the sea, was stocked with everything I needed, had fast wifi, and was in a great location. The bed is big and comfy and the rooftop terrace is a great place to chill. It's still noisy at night, being in the center of the city. But I was fine after the new bar was sorted, even without ear plugs. I was in the sea view apartment on the top floor. There are tons of options for eating in the area and there's a dive shop across the street, and a small surf break. I could literally roll out of bed and be prepping for a dive or renting a surf board in less than 2 min. The beach is wonderful too. Stretching for miles with plenty of space for everyone. You could even find relatively deserted spots if you walked 15 min down the beach either way. There was a bit of hassling from local sellers, but they were mostly respectful of the first "no thanks." The streets were surprisingly clean. All-in-all, I had a fantastic time. If you are a beach/water sport person, this is the place to be to escape European winters.

Misturod - Holiday Apartments ligger 4 minuters promenad från Praia António Sousa i Santa Maria och erbjuder boende med luftkonditionering och gratis WiFi. Phenomenal stay at Misturod! We ended up extending our 2 night stay to 5 because of the comfort :) The bed was a spring mattress, but surprisingly comfortable and nice :) The wifi was powerful, stable and fast, which made computer work a breeze ^^ Probably the best thing at Misturod was the filtered water...helps save money and not worry about drinking from the tap. The AC was exclusive the bedroom, but was super strong and cooled things off quickly...which was great after hours in the sun! 5 minute walk to the main street and 5 minutes to the shell cemetery beach!!

Great appartment for two. Very close to pedestrian street with a lot of bars and restaurants. Paolo just a great 👍host 😊.

Apart Ponta Preta ligger i Santa Maria. Här erbjuds en trädgård. På Apart Ponta Preta finns också en solterrass. Cykeluthyrning erbjuds på plats och det finns trevliga vandringsleder i området. My friend and I loved our stay in Nautilus aparthotel! Everything was perfect! The staff is super welcoming, the appartment is cute and pretty well located.

Nautilus Aparthotel ligger 2 minuters promenad från Praia António Sousa och erbjuder luftkonditionerat boende med en trädgård, en terrass, en balkong och gratis WiFi. Very good location. The receptionists were friendly and did their best to solve our problem. The cleaners cleaned the apartment every day, towels were changed every two days.
