Waterfront Apartments offer luxury accommodation set on the banks of the Mersey river in Devonport. Free WiFi is available and free private parking is available on site. Really lovely space, very new and comfortable. Much larger than expected, hard to fault. Really easy to park.

Located on the site of the Old Ben Lomond Golf Course, Craggy offers a range of accommodation including self-contained cabins and studios. The location is stunning. Its on an old disused golf course. The cabins are built overlooking an old fairway with craggy peak mountains overlooking and loads of wild life. The accommodation was much better than the photographs portrayed. I particularly like the large windows giving great views. It is very isolated but that's what we wanted. Very friendly hosts.

Just a 5 minute walk away from the centre of town, Castaway Holiday Apartments is located in Strahan. WiFi access is available at this self-catering accommodation. While the unit was the closest to the street, it was warm, quiet, spacious and immaculately clean. Contactless checkin was a bonus but the proprietor was easy to contact and very helpful. After a long day travelling we opted to buy groceries and cook dinner in-house rather than dine out. Everything we needed was in the cupboards. All windows had insect mesh and openers that worked with ease (unlike many other places we have stayed). We decided to stay another night but unfortunately they were fully booked so had to leave after just one night, but offered parking for the day while we took the Gordon River cruise (which we didnt take up but appreciated the offer). The unit had 2brms - one with a double, one with twin setup with electric blankets. Just one block from the grocery store. Would highly recommend for any travellers.

Offering self-contained apartments with fully equipped kitchens, Strahan Bungalows are just a 4-minute walk from Mill Bay and the harbour. Easy check in and great communication from host. Lovely place, super location and clean. Heater worked well as everything else. Loved the family chalets with two bedroom for our group of 12 we fitted easily into three of them.

Located across the road from Norfolk Bay, Masons Cottages offers self-contained studios and cottages. All feature garden views and either a fully equipped kitchen or kitchenette including a stovetop. Wonderful hosts. Extremely well-appointed and spacious cottage for 1-4 people. Very clean. Plenty of windows, light, fresh air during the night. Laundry room washer and dryer effective. Denise also made very useful suggestions of activities in the immediate area and in the rest of Tasmania. I hope to go back one day.

Offering self-contained accommodation with panoramic river and valley views, Armalong Winery Chalets is located in Grindelwald, 20 minutes' drive from Launceston. This property was absolutely superb. Beautiful vineyard setting with all comforts and lovely hosts.

Old Bishop's Quarters offers 5 different and unique 1-2 bedroom apartments, within an acre of gardens, with water or mountain views. Great location, and the standard of the accommodation was superb. Comfy beds, beautifully designed with all the comforts of a luxury stay.

Set in beautiful gardens on the grounds of an historic Federation mansion, Werndee offers self-contained cottage accommodation. The cottages offer free WiFi and a patio with garden views. The apartment was very comfortable. Small personal touches, like a packet of our favourite biscuits on the bench, and some cooking oil with basic spices, really helped us feel welcome and cared about.

Located opposite Georges Bay, guests can go fishing, boating, swimming and mountain biking, Georges Bay Apartments offers studio motel rooms, apartments and a four bedroom house, all less than a... Very clean. Great location. Nice to have guest laundry.
