We could not speak more highly of our stay at The Salty Lodge. The apartment was exactly what we needed whilst staying in Lagos. It was comfortable and clean and we felt right at home! The best part of all was the rooftop that all guests have access to. The views were amazing up there and we spend many nights having a glass of wine up there, my partner even proposed to me there!!! The staff were very friendly and willing to answer any and all of our questions we had about the area.

And the mercado (Pingo Doce) Also close to the train station ( 20 minutes walk) The bus # 2 in front of the building will bring you to the city; to the ponta de piedade and at the end of the line this bus will bring you to the super beach Praia de Porto Mos and the fantastic walk you can do from there.

The Hotel was lovely and clean with a very spacious room overlooking the pool. Very good breakfast. About 10 minutes to restaurants/bars/shops/beach. Marina about 15 minutes walk and next to train station. Lovely staff at Hotel, very helpful and friendly. Taxi from Faro Airport to Hotel just over an hour and roughly 60 euros.
