excellent hospitality, Joel and his son, Bruno, were so kind and helpful. the rooms were spotless and made up daily, the fresh fruit upon arrival and daily bread deliveries were thoughtful touches. location was perfect for exploring the island and also getting in and out of Funchal with the ease.

The food was excellent, the gardens were superb. Beautifully managed and kept. Staff were lovely. I was very impressed by the efficient way the hotel organised pre departure Covid tests and the management helped me to complete the passenger location form.
