I like the place and the bungalow was pretty nice. The staffs are nice as well. Oh and the cats are so sweet, we missed them.

The staff were fantastic. Easy to check in, we checked out very early so missed breakfast but had something prepared for us the night before. Very thoughtful. Location is great with a nice sandy beach right across the street. The pool was also great.

I had the pleasure of renting a double room at these apartments, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of amazing. From the outstanding services to the warm hospitality provided by Mrs Katerina and Mr Charis , it was a truly memorable stay. One of the standout features of these apartments is their genuine dog-friendly policy. Being able to bring our furry friend along made our stay even more enjoyable. The proximity to the sea in this picturesque area creates the perfect setting for an unforgettable holiday. I can confidently say that we'll be returning for another stay in the near future. These apartments are a hidden gem for those seeking both comfort and a warm welcome.

We live in the UK but my husband is from Crete and we visit every summer. We have stayed at Ideal for the last four years. We’ve previously stayed in more expensive hotels but actually prefer it at Ideal. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the cleaners are friendly and change the bed linen every two days and clean regularly. The hotel has an excellent taverna attached serving traditional Greek food, and stone baked pizzas and more. The hotel is close to shops, restaurants, the beach, a pharmacy and a doctors surgery. Also a short walk from more sea front cars and restaurants in Gournes. Highly recommend!
