This was the best hotel we stayed in our trip. First, the room itself was large and clean. It had kitchen facilities and everything you need to maintain and clean after cooking. This was the only hotel with a wireless charger in the room and its so nice to not to find your charger and travel adaptor. Bathroom was very clean too. One of the levels had shared facilities like a laundry room and a shared kitchen. This was a great idea where guests can wash & dry clothes. Detergent was also provided. The shared kitchen had tea/coffee facilities, free fruit etc. The Location was excellent. 1 stopover from Bern and across the road from Bern Wankerdorf (<1min walk). The coop supermarket is right downstairs. This place is excellent if you have unlimited travel pass so you can visit Thun and Interlaken without paying excessive amounts in hotels in those locations. Since the supermarket is next door you can easily sort out breakfast and dinner. One thing is to check into the hotel (URL is in the email) before arriving so you can get access to keys easily on the day of check in.

The hotel was so comfy that it felt like home away from home! The location cannot get any better and is right at the bridge of the Aare river, offering stunning views. Everything you need is at your door step- restaurants for delicious local food, leafy forests for hiking, and beautiful old city centre for shopping/ tourism. The living space itself is beautiful- historic with a modern twist. There is an entrance hall, living room with a comfy sofa, 2 lovely bathrooms with large beautiful modern showers, a comfortable kitchen with a fridge and a coffee machine (which makes delicious coffee 24/7), a bedroom with a closet, a small adjusted tv room, and a beautiful spiral staircase. As per other reviewers, there were a lot of tourists around the hotel during the busy hours of the day, but it did not disturb us. The rooms in the first floor, including the bedroom, are well- hidden from the view. The rooms in the ground floor area (kitchen & living room) have transparent window curtains, which do a perfect job of preserving your privacy, while allowing light inside. The noise levels were minimal on the ground floor and almost non-existent on the 1st floor, where the bedroom is. Towels in the bathrooms were large and soft, and you also get slippers and bathrobes. The place is very clean and tidy with daily housekeeping visits. There also were loads of windows, which was great for airing. Breakfast was good, and was delivered contactless to your door in cute boxes and bottles. It included traditional Swiss selection of regular cold meats, cheeses, breads, fresh milk and yogurts, croissants, granola/ cornflakes, juices, and at times also fresh fruit platters with strawberries etc. Throughout the stay, we felt very welcome and well taken care of- the hotel staff went above and beyond. A special thanks to Sara, and to the rest of the team who have made this stay unforgettable! P.S. Watching bears was also a bonus!

The location is very convenient, near the restaurants although a little bit of noise on Friday night. The host is so nice to give us a map even with the guidelines, that we can tour the city easily!
