Amazing room for an amazing price, and great location near the border to Switzerland and Liechtenstein. It's like a hostel with common rooms to meet people, but everyone has their own room to sleep. I loved the retro look the house has and the hosts were super nice and forthcoming and made sure that everything was alright. I also appreciated the self check-in. Basically it feels like you're sharing a house in Austria in the 70s.

Landgasthof Hirschen offers accommodations in Hohenems, 12 miles from Bregenz Train Station and 19 miles from Lindau Train Station. The rooms were comfortable and the location was awesome! We were right in the old town very close to a hiking trail up to the castle ruin. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The best part though was dinner at the rest and the provided breakfast. Very very delicious!
