The area is nothing short of spectacular!! Rhino Peak pokes you in the eye it is so close. Numerous hiking options abound. The rondavel is cozy. The thatch roof and the structural framing supporting it is a great study as you lay in the comfortable double bed. The kitchen island/bar is well stocked with any and all items you need to self cater. The shower provides an endless supply of hot satisfying water. My wife and I have been traveling for a month in South Africa and this is the best yet. The hosts are generous with thier time and helped us plan our hikes and even led us on an excursion into the National Park.

The garden and view of the mountains was beautiful and the location is very central if you want to explore the Southern Berg. The co-host Sara was incredibly friendly and helpful and met us on arrival to hand over the keys and gave us a run down of everything.
