The location is perfect. The staff was very nice, friendly, and professional. I was impressed by how both breakfast and dinner were included, as well as the excellent quality. I did a half-hour massage for myself and my husband, and we both enjoyed it.

We loved the breakfast! There were plenty of options and they were all great! We loved walking around town and on the trails. The location and views were spectacular!

The hotel was perfect. You need to climb a little to get home but we come to ski so it was ok. Extremely clean, wonderful view, perfect host -he was always polite and helpful. The area had perfect snow for a period when there was no snow. The piste were red in the area but easy to connect with blue and fun parks/ snow parks. There were plenty of snow on slopes so no pebbles or dirt. There were fun-park and snow parks in every area so our teenagers were happy. There were plenty of restaurants and the food was great_ but you need reservation to find a table , otherwise they are packed. Our accommodation was near Costabella ski lift.

The two sisters who ran the hotel worked tirelessly to answer questions, provide suggestions of where to eat or drink, picturesque walks, wine bars to visit and good places to ski. It is a small hotel but with the latest mod cons - the boot and ski lockers were the best I’ve seen and the wifi was very good. This was true ski in/ ski out facilities where you could click on your skis at the front door.

This was an incredible hotel with all high end amenities and exceptional customer service. The rooms are spacious and beds are extremely comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay here that we didn’t want to leave and subsequently booked an additional night. I can’t say enough about the family that works tirelessly to make everyone’s experience five stars. From the delicious breakfast bar, made to order kitchen service and dinner menu, the food was an integral part of our enjoyment. The self service spa was a really nice touch after a long day of hiking and exploring. Our room upgrade on the third night was to die for!! There were Two skylights that allowed us to see the mountains and then the stars at night and the balcony view was unparalleled. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our stay at Hotel Freina.
