Ryokan Hostel K’s House ligger i en 100 år gammal kulturminnesmärkt byggnad i Shizuoka, 7 minuters promenad från järnvägsstationen JR Ito. Vandrarhemmet erbjuder termalbad, gratis WiFi och 3 lounger. The hotel was the main attraction in town. The hotel is so beautiful in it's traditional architecture. True place of art. The town is great if you are planning to do hikes or other small towns in the region.

Iroriyado Hidaya ligger i Takayama, 18 minuters promenad från Takayama station, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering och en gemensam lounge. The location is about a 20 min walk to the central area and about a 30 min walk to the Hida Folk Village so the location isn’t too bad if you’re planning to see both. The staff is beyond excellent, extremely polite, friendly and welcoming. We had the Japanese breakfast which was really delicious. I loved how big our room was, it was all well worth the stay.

Atami Sekaie ligger i Atami, inom 2,6 km från Atami Sun strand och 25 km från Hakone-Yumoto station, och erbjuder boende med en restaurang och gratis WiFi samt gratis privat parkering för gäster som... Everything! The staff were so polite and welcoming. The welcome seating and drink while staff helped us check in was so pleasant, our own personal staff to show us to our room, the beautiful room with all the little details or amenities, our own traditional Yakuta to wear to meals, the private onsen and peaceful nature of the ocean view. Everything was amazing!!

SOKI ATAMI ligger i Atami, 1,7 km från Atami Sun strand, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering, en terrass och en restaurang. This place is an absolute dream come true! Every detail was perfection, from the serene surroundings to the fantastic design. Loved strolling around with the provided pyjamas and the private onsen. The dinner was a wonderful culinary experience with top-quality ingredients. The staff were incredibly attentive and helpful, adding to the overall wonderful experience. Perfectly located near Atami, it's an ideal retreat. If I could, I'd give it more than 10 stars. Just perfect!

Toraya ligger i Gero, 48 km från Takayama station, och erbjuder utsikt över bergen. Denna ryokan med 3 stjärnor har luftkonditionerade rum med gratis WiFi och eget badrum. EVERYTHING. The dream come true in a ryokan (and affordable). I truly love the private onsen. It was bliss. The room, the yukatas, the ambience, the fact that look like is brand new construction but in a traditional aesthetic. A dream.

Yumeguri no Yado Yoshiharu ligger i Izunokuni, 9,1 km från Shuzenji-templet, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering och en terrass. Mycket avkopplande och gästvänligt. Enastående service. Otroligt vacker och vällagad mat och god om man tycker om sjömat och sushi . 13 rätters middag och 10 rötters frukost. Underbara bad /varma källor både privata och gemensamma. Nära till mycket vackra omgivningar. Vackra kimonos att låna samt överkimonos i dun eller tjockare bomull.

Izu Hokkawa Seaside Guesthouse 伊豆北川の家 erbjuder 2-stjärnigt boende vid stranden i Higashiizu och har trädgård, gemensam lounge och terrass. We felt so welcomed and cared for by Ken. Fresh local flowers in the room, a friendly face and comfortable room in a delightful seaside village. We were kindly dropped back to the train - a lovely experience and memory.

Nagataki ligger i Nakatsugawa, inom 12 km från Amritsar busstation och 13 km från Ōi, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård och gratis WiFi samt gratis privat parkering för gäster som anländer med bil. It was great staying in a traditional Japanese home from the 1600's. Dinner and breakfast were served to our "house" and the onsen was great as well. It is nice spending some time away from a city or town. You are surrounded by nature!

Bousui - really magnificent ryokan hotel which takes special place in my wife’s and mine hearts😄! Room was very big, all over traditionally designed, very atmospheric and comfortable! Hot spring baths were amazing too: luxurious, very comfortable and with beautiful sea views! Premium gazebo was especially great! Really worth it! Employee, who helped us in room was very attentive, helpful and made all we could need to take all the best from our staying! Special thanks for pleasant conversations and tons of very interesting information! You made our staying unforgettable! Additionally to traditional breakfast, we asked for Kaiseki dinner - it was third Kaiseki we got, and truly, the most delicious and impressive! Fish was as fresh as it is possible, serving was full of beautiful and very interesting details! Last, but not least part of our rest was massage in award winning GECCA SPA: to be honest, Suzune gave me greatest massage I ever got! She was so attentive and diligent, made message with so masterpiece, that I’ve got extreme pleasure and relief! More over, it was first time when I feel, that therapist don’t just do it work, but really cares of me!🙏🏻 Btw, my wife never liked massages, but even she was really impressed by Suzune’s work!
