I had a generous and delicious Japanese breakfast as well as a luxurious kaiseki dinner at increadible value for money. The staff are super generous and helpful (I had accidentally booked the wrong date, no problem, they solved it) and gave me a lift to many places I wanted to visit, I didn’t even have to ask, they offered. They go out of their way to make the guests happy. The building is a classic Japanese style building with great atmosphere. I loved staying there.

We loved having a tatami sleeping and dining area in the family room. The staff were so nice to us, helping us find our way around town. There are beautiful parks and shrines near by. The mountain top onsen is beautiful, especially at sunrise and sunset. We look forward to returning one day.

It was a great stay even though we only spent one evening here. The room was big and the private onsen bath is just so lovely on a cold day. The staff did not speak English but they tried hard to accommodate us. The in-room breakfast was exceptional. If anything, it's a bit of a distance from the train station, so would have to wait for the bus to come.
